Session 4

Protecting Racing’s Integrity

February 20, 2020

This session will commence by bringing together legal and integrity leaders from racing and other major sports to examine the key threats to clean racing and sport. It will consider trends in cheating within sports – from motivation to method – and look at cutting-edge approaches to intelligence, investigations, and integrity programmes, to identify and deal with those who seek to cross the line.

Having explored these matters, the focus of the session will move to a special presentation on the breaking of integrity-related stories, from the perspectives of a leading news-breaking journalist, and an experienced racing regulator.
