Since the establishment of the Farwaniyah Equestrian Club (FEC) in 2012, the FEC has organised races in accordance with international regulations, which has led to a huge increase in the number of owners and horses joining the FEC. During the 2020/21 racing season, the FEC had 103 owners and 992 horses, 105 jockeys, and 140 trainers. The FEC’s administrators have tried hard to make equestrian sports more popular amongst Kuwaiti people and to organise international events and races in Kuwait.
