ARF Chairman elected as new IFHA Chair; ARF Vice Chairman elected as IFHA Vice-Chair for Asia

The International Federation of Horseracing Authorities (IFHA) has announced today that its long-standing Chairman, Mr Louis Romanet, has decided not to seek a further term and will conclude his tenure as Chairman in October.

Mr Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges, who is currently Vice-Chairman of the IFHA, Chairman of the Asian Racing Federation and Chief Executive Officer of The Hong Kong Jockey Club, was elected as Mr Romanet’s successor.

In addition, Mr Masayuki Goto, who is currently Vice-Chairman of the ARF and President and CEO of the Japan Racing Association, was elected as a new Vice-Chair of the IFHA.
