Asian Racing Federation countries continue to travel to each other's Carnivals and for the second year in succession Japan will have runners over the Sydney Autumn Carnival with four Japanese horses travelling to Sydney.

The Japanese runners have been confirmed by Sydney racing authorities as Isla Bonita (JPN), trained by Hironori Kurita, Logotype (JPN) trained by Tsuyoshi Tanaka, Tosen Stardom (JPN) and Tosen Reve (JPN), both trained by Yasutoshi Ikee.

Isla Bonita won the Japanese 2000 Guineas before placing second in the Japanese Derby as a three-year-old and was crowned Champion Three Year Old Colt of Japan in 2014. In his past two starts Isla Bonita has finished third in the Tenno Sho (Autumn) and Japanese Mile Championship.

Logotype is a dual Group 1 winner targeting the A$3m, Group 1 The Star Doncaster Mile (1600m). The now five-year-old was the Champion Two Year Old of his year in Japan and as a three-year-old Logotype defeated the champion racehorse Epiphaneia (JPN).

Tosen Stardom returns to Sydney for the A$4m, Group 1 WFA Longines Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2000m) at Randwick after finishing fifth in 2015. Stablemate Tosen Reve may become the first Japanese runner in the A$2m, Group 1 Schweppes Sydney Cup (3200m).
