TJK aims to contribute to society through various social responsibility projects such as Equine Therapy Centres, Pony Club and the organisation of special Themed Races.
Equine-Assisted Therapy Centres (Hippotherapy) is one of the most important social responsibility projects of TJK. These therapy centres are implemented as a therapy method to support the treatment of children with disabilities. The first centre was opened in Istanbul in 2015, followed by the centres in the Diyarbakır, İzmir, Bursa, Şanlıurfa, Adana and Elazığ racecourses.
The Pony Club project was created in 2014 to introduce children to horses at early ages and to instil a love of horses. The Pony Club travels to different cities throughout Türkiye during summer holidays, visiting approximately 20 cities for a stay of two days per city each year.
TJK also organises special themed races and events in order to increase awareness of social and public issues by collaborating with foundations relevant to the theme. Races named after Özgecan Aslan (a victim of violence against women), children with leukaemia and organ donation are among such themed races.
