The Asian Racing Federation’s Anti-Illegal Betting Taskforce (‘the Taskforce’) announced today that it has strengthened its capability to protect global racing integrity with the addition to the Taskforce of former Chief Commissioner of Victoria Police, Graham Ashton, and the Project Manager of INTERPOL’s Match-Fixing Task Force, Claudio Marinelli.
The announcement this week from the Singapore Turf Club that racing will resume at Kranji on July 11th, 2020, completes Asian Racing Federation jurisdictions returning to racing operations after the Covid-19 pandemic country lock-downs.

The National Horse Racing Authority (NHA) of South Africa on Thursday, May 28th, 2020, announced that the South African Government has permitted racing in South Africa will resume on June 1st, 2020, behind closed doors. Racing had been suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic and a national wide lockdown.
